C elui qui a reçu la semence parmi les épines, c'est celui qui entend la parole, mais en qui les soucis du siècle et la séduction des richesses étouffent cette parole, et la rendent infructueuse.

And he that was planted among the thorns is he that hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
