L orsque Moïse entrait dans la tente d'assignation pour parler avec l'Éternel, il entendait la voix qui lui parlait du haut du propitiatoire placé sur l'arche du témoignage, entre les deux chérubins. Et il parlait avec l'Éternel.

And in the going in of Moses unto the tent of meeting to speak with Him -- he doth even hear the voice speaking unto him from off the mercy-seat which upon the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubs; and He speaketh unto him.
