V oici, le Seigneur, l'Éternel, a les yeux sur le royaume coupable. Je le détruirai de dessus la face de la terre; Toutefois je ne détruirai pas entièrement la maison de Jacob, Dit l'Éternel.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the Lord.
