A insi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Frappe de la main, frappe du pied, et dis: Hélas! Sur toutes les méchantes abominations de la maison d'Israël, Qui tombera par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: `Smite with thy palm, and stamp with thy foot, And say: Alas, for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel, Who by sword, by famine, and by pestilence do fall.
