C 'est pourquoi sa tige s'élevait au-dessus de tous les arbres des champs, Ses branches avaient multiplié, ses rameaux s'étendaient, Par l'abondance des eaux qui l'avaient fait pousser.

Therefore its stature was exalted above all the trees of the field; and its boughs were multiplied, and its branches became long by reason of many waters, when it spread them out.
