E lle avait de vigoureux rameaux pour des sceptres de souverains; Par son élévation elle dominait les branches touffues; Elle attirait les regards par sa hauteur, Et par la multitude de ses rameaux.

And it hath strong rods for sceptres of rulers, And high is its stature above thick branches, And it appeareth in its height In the multitude of its thin shoots.
