C ar depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand, Tous sont avides de gain; Depuis le prophète jusqu'au sacrificateur, Tous usent de tromperie.

For from the least of them even to the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness (to greed for unjust gain); and from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely.
