D escends du séjour de la gloire, assieds-toi sur la terre desséchée, Habitante, fille de Dibon! Car le dévastateur de Moab monte contre toi, Il détruit tes forteresses.

Thou daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab has come against thee and has dissipated thy strong holds.
