J e t'ai parlé dans le temps de ta prospérité; Tu disais: Je n'écouterai pas. C'est ainsi que tu as agi dès ta jeunesse; Tu n'as pas écouté ma voix.

I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.
