( 9: 16) C'est pourquoi le Seigneur ne saurait se réjouir de leurs jeunes hommes, Ni avoir pitié de leurs orphelins et de leurs veuves; Car tous sont des impies et des méchants, Et toutes les bouches profèrent des infamies. Malgré tout cela, sa colère ne s'apaise point, Et sa main est encore étendue.

Therefore the Lord will not rejoice over their young men, neither will he have compassion on their fatherless and widows; for every one is profane and an evil-doer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
