R éjouis-toi, stérile, toi qui n'enfantes plus! Fais éclater ton allégresse et ta joie, toi qui n'as plus de douleurs! Car les fils de la délaissée seront plus nombreux Que les fils de celle qui est mariée, dit l'Éternel.

¶ Rejoice, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud with joy, thou that didst not travail with child: for more shall be the sons of the desolate than the sons of the married wife, said the LORD.
