V oici, mes souffrances mêmes sont devenues mon salut; Tu as pris plaisir à retirer mon âme de la fosse du néant, Car tu as jeté derrière toi tous mes péchés.

Behold, for peace I had great bitterness; but it has pleased thee to deliver my life from the pit of corruption, for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
