C omme tu domptes la chaleur dans une terre brûlante, Tu as dompté le tumulte des barbares; Comme la chaleur est étouffée par l'ombre d'un nuage, Ainsi ont été étouffés les chants de triomphe des tyrans.

Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
