( 8: 22) Moïse répondit: Il n'est point convenable de faire ainsi; car nous offririons à l'Éternel, notre Dieu, des sacrifices qui sont en abomination aux Égyptiens. Et si nous offrons, sous leurs yeux, des sacrifices qui sont en abomination aux Égyptiens, ne nous lapideront-ils pas?

And Moses replied, It is not convenient to do so; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God. Behold, if we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, will they not stone us?
