E t le peuple crut. Ils apprirent que l'Éternel avait visité les enfants d'Israël, qu'il avait vu leur souffrance; et ils s'inclinèrent et se prosternèrent.

So the people believed. When they heard that the Lord cared about the people of Israel and had seen their suffering, they bowed to the ground and worshiped.
