q ui conserve son amour jusqu'à mille générations, qui pardonne l'iniquité, la rébellion et le péché, mais qui ne tient point le coupable pour innocent, et qui punit l'iniquité des pères sur les enfants et sur les enfants des enfants jusqu'à la troisième et à la quatrième génération!

Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
