A u milieu de la nuit, l'Éternel frappa tous les premiers-nés dans le pays d'Égypte, depuis le premier-né de Pharaon assis sur son trône, jusqu'au premier-né du captif dans sa prison, et jusqu'à tous les premiers-nés des animaux.

At midnight the Lord slew every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the prisoner in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the livestock.
