I l lui donna aussi une copie de l'édit publié dans Suse en vue de leur destruction, afin qu'il le montrât à Esther et lui fît tout connaître; et il ordonna qu'Esther se rendît chez le roi pour lui demander grâce et l'implorer en faveur de son peuple.

And he gave him a copy of the writing of the decree that had been given at Shushan to destroy them, to shew to Esther, and to declare to her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication to him, and to make request before him, for her people.
