M ais le roi David dit à Ornan: Non! je veux l'acheter contre sa valeur en argent, car je ne présenterai point à l'Éternel ce qui est à toi, et je n'offrirai point un holocauste qui ne me coûte rien.

And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the Lord, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
