I l rebâtit les hauts lieux qu'Ézéchias, son père, avait détruits, il éleva des autels à Baal, il fit une idole d'Astarté, comme avait fait Achab, roi d'Israël, et il se prosterna devant toute l'armée des cieux et la servit.

For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he raised up altars for Baal, and made an Asherah, as Ahab king of Israel did, and worshiped all the army of the sky, and served them.
