D epuis le Jourdain, vers le soleil levant, il battit tout le pays de Galaad, les Gadites, les Rubénites et les Manassites, depuis Aroër sur le torrent de l'Arnon jusqu'à Galaad et à Basan.

He took the land east of the Jordan, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, the Reubenites and the Manassites, from Aroer, by the valley of the Arnon. He took Gilead and Bashan.
