S alomon rassembla des chars et de la cavalerie; il avait quatorze cents chars et douze mille cavaliers, qu'il plaça dans les villes où il tenait ses chars et à Jérusalem près du roi.

Now Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; and he had 1, 400 chariots and 12, 000 horsemen, and he stationed them in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem.
