P endant qu'Absalom offrait les sacrifices, il envoya chercher à la ville de Guilo Achitophel, le Guilonite, conseiller de David. La conjuration devint puissante, et le peuple était de plus en plus nombreux auprès d'Absalom.

And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counselor, from his city Giloh, while he was offering the sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong, for the people increased continually with Absalom. David Flees Jerusalem
