J acob dit: Mon fils ne descendra point avec vous; car son frère est mort, et il reste seul; s'il lui arrivait un malheur dans le voyage que vous allez faire, vous feriez descendre mes cheveux blancs avec douleur dans le séjour des morts.

But said, My son shall not go down with you, for his brother is dead and he alone is left; if harm or accident should befall him on the journey you are to take, you would bring my hoary head down to Sheol (the place of the dead) with grief.
