P ourquoi as-tu pris la fuite en cachette, m'as-tu trompé, et ne m'as-tu point averti? Je t'aurais laissé partir au milieu des réjouissances et des chants, au son du tambourin et de la harpe.

Why did you flee away secretly, and steal away from me, and not tell me; for I might have sent you away with joy and songs, with timbrel and harp?
