Q uando gli abitanti di Ashdod videro che le cose andavano a quel modo, dissero: «L'arca del DIO d'Israele non deve rimanere presso di noi, perché la sua mano è stata dura verso di noi e verso Dagon, nostro dio».

When the men of Ashdod saw how things were, they said, “The special box of the God of Israel must not stay with us. For His hand is hard on us and on our god Dagon.”
