D avide rispose al sacerdote: «Siamo rimasti senza donne da quando sono partito, tre giorni fa; i vasi poi dei miei uomini sono puri; e il pane in effetti è comune, anche se oggi è stato santificato nei vasi».

And David answereth the priest, and saith to him, `Surely, if women have been restrained from us as heretofore in my going out, then the vessels of the young men are holy, and it a common way: and also, surely to-day it is sanctified in the vessel.'
