O r Eli era molto vecchio e udì tutto ciò che i suoi figli facevano a tutto Israele e come essi si coricavano con le donne che facevano servizio all'ingresso della tenda di convegno;

Now Eli was very old. He heard all that his sons were doing to all Israel, and how they lay with the women who served at the door of the meeting tent.
