A llora Gedeone prese dieci uomini fra i suoi sei e fece come l'Eterno gli aveva detto; ma poiché aveva paura della casa di suo padre e della gente della città, invece di farlo di giorno, lo fece di notte.

Then Gideon took ten men of his slaves and did as the LORD had said unto him. But he feared to do it by day because of his father’s family and the men of the city, so he did it by night.
