Q uel giorno i figli di Beniamino chiamati a raccolta dalle loro città erano in numero i ventiseimila uomini abili a maneggiar la spada, senza contare gli abitanti di Ghibeah che ammontavano a settecento uomini scelti.

The children of Benjamin were numbered on that day out of the cities twenty-six thousand men who drew the sword, besides the inhabitants of Gibeah, who were numbered seven hundred chosen men.
