P erciò Delilah prese delle funi nuove, lo legò e gli disse: «Sansone, i Filistei ti sono addosso». Or c'erano degli uomini in agguato nella camera interna. Ma egli ruppe come un filo le funi che aveva alle braccia.

Delilah therefore took new ropes and bound him with them and said unto him, The Philistines are upon thee, Samson. And there were men lying in wait abiding in a chamber. But he broke them from off his arms like a thread.
