I sraele quindi inviò messaggeri a Sihon, re degli Amorei, re di Heshbon, e gli disse: "Ti preghiamo, lasciaci passare attraverso il tuo paese per arrivare al nostro".

Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said to him, ‘Please let us pass through your land to my place.’
