S imilmente voi, mariti, vivete con le vostre mogli con la comprensione dovuta alla donna, come al vaso piú debole, e onoratele perché sono coeredi con voi della grazia della vita, affinché le vostre preghiere non siano impedite.

In the same way you married men should live considerately with, with an intelligent recognition, honoring the woman as the weaker, but are joint heirs of the grace (God’s unmerited favor) of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered and cut off.
