Giosué 10:1 ~ Joshua 10:1

Q uando Adoni-Tsedek, re di Gerusalemme, seppe che Giosuè aveva preso Ai e l'aveva votata allo sterminio, e che aveva fatto ad Ai e al suo re quel che aveva fatto a Gerico e al suo re, e che gli abitanti di Gabaon avevano fatto pace con gl'Israeliti ed erano in mezzo a loro,

Now it came to pass, when Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;
