E cco, noi proclamiamo beati coloro che hanno perseverato; avete udito parlare della pazienza di Giobbe, e avete visto la sorte finale che il Signore gli riserbò, poiché il Signore è pieno di misericordia e di compassione.

You know how we call those blessed (happy) who were steadfast. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the Lord’s end, inasmuch as the Lord is full of pity and compassion and tenderness and mercy.
