S terminerai dunque tutti i popoli che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, sta per dare in tuo potere; il tuo occhio non abbia pietà di loro, e non servire i loro dèi, perché ciò sarebbe per te un laccio.

Also you shall destroy all the peoples whom the Lord your God delivers over to you; your eye shall have no pity on them; nor shall you serve their gods, for that will be a snare to you.
