I l Dio di Abrahamo, di Isacco e di Giacobbe, il Dio dei nostri padri ha glorificato il suo Figlio Gesú che voi consegnaste nelle mani di Pilato e rinnegaste davanti a lui, nonostante egli avesse deciso di liberarlo.

The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son Jesus, whom ye delivered up and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he had judged to let him go.
