E Pietro, vedendo ciò, parlò al popolo dicendo: «Uomini d'Israele, perché vi meravigliate di questo? O perché fissate su di noi gli occhi come se per la nostra propria potenza o pietà avessimo fatto camminare costui?

And Peter, seeing it, answered the people, You men of Israel, why are you so surprised and wondering at this? Why do you keep staring at us, as though by our power or piety we had made this man to walk?
