c ome mi sono testimoni il sommo sacerdote e tutto il sinedrio, degli anziani, dai quali avendo anche ricevuto lettere per i fratelli, mi recavo a Damasco per condurre prigionieri a Gerusalemme anche quelli che erano là, perché fossero puniti.

As also the high priest and all the council of the elders testify, from whom also I received letters to the brothers, and traveled to Damascus to bring them also who were there to Jerusalem in bonds to be punished.
