M olti di coloro che avevano esercitato le arti occulte radunarono assieme i libri e li arsero in presenza di tutti, e, calcolatone il prezzo, si trovò che ammontava a cinquantamila pezzi d'argento.

In the same manner many who had practiced vain arts brought their books together and burned them before everyone, and they counted the price of them and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
