P oiché, passando in rassegna e osservando gli oggetti del vostro culto, ho trovato anche un altare sul quale era scritto: AL DIO SCONOSCIUTO. Quello dunque che voi adorate senza conoscerlo, io ve lo annunzio.

for, passing through and beholding your shrines, I found also an altar on which was inscribed, To the unknown God. Whom therefore ye reverence, not knowing, him I announce to you.
