E d Erode lo mandò a cercare ma non lo trovò e, dopo avere interrogato le guardie, comandò che fossero condotte al supplizio. Poi discese dalla Giudea a Cesarea e là si fermò per un podi tempo.

And when Herod had sought for him and found him not, he examined the guards and commanded that they should be taken away. Then he went down from Judaea to Caesarea and abode there.
