G erusalemme, Gerusalemme, che uccidi i profeti e lapidi coloro che ti sono mandati! Quante volte ho voluto a raccogliere i tuoi figli come la gallina raccoglie i suoi pulcini sotto le ali, ma voi non avete voluto!

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
