P oiché tutti i primogeniti dei figli d'Israele, tanto degli uomini quanto degli animali, sono miei; li consacrai per me il giorno che percossi tutti i primogeniti nel paese d'Egitto.

For all the firstborn of the sons of Israel are mine, both of man and of animals; from the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
