N adab e Abihu morirono davanti all'Eterno, quando offrirono fuoco illecito davanti all'Eterno nel deserto del Sinai; essi non avevano figli. Così Eleazar e Ithamar servirono come sacerdoti alla presenza di Aaronne, loro padre.

And Nadab and Abihu died before Jehovah when they offered strange fire before Jehovah in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no sons; and Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priesthood in the presence of Aaron their father.
