« Fate il censimento di tutta l'assemblea dei figli d'Israele, dall'età di vent'anni in su, in base alle case dei loro padri, di tutti coloro che in Israele possono andare in guerra».

«أحصِيا كُلَّ بَني إسْرائِيلَ بِحَسَبِ عَشائِرِهِمْ كُلَّ الرِّجالِ مِنْ سِنِّ عِشرِينَ سَنَةً فَما فَوْقُ، الَّذِينَ يَستَطِيعُونَ الخِدمَةَ فِي الجَيشِ.»
