E ppure dite: «Per quale ragione?». Poiché l'Eterno è testimone fra te e la moglie della tua giovinezza, verso la quale ti sei comportato perfidamente, benché ella sia la tua compagna e la moglie del tuo patto.

Yet you say, ‘For what reason?’ Because the Lord has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.
