E cco sui monti i piedi di chi annuncia buone novelle e che proclama la pace! Celebra le tue feste solenni, o Giuda, adempi i tuoi voti, perché il malvagio non passerà piú in mezzo a te; egli sarà interamente sterminato.

Behold, on the mountains the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace! Celebrate your feasts, O Judah; Pay your vows. For never again will the wicked one pass through you; He is cut off completely.
