C osí dice l'Eterno: «Come un pastore strappa dalle fauci del leone due gambe o un pezzo d'orecchio, cosí saranno strappati i figli d'Israele che in Samaria stanno sull'angolo di un letto o sul damasco di un divano.

Thus said Jehovah: As the shepherd delivereth from the lion's mouth Two legs, or a piece of an ear, So delivered are the sons of Israel, Who are sitting in Samaria on the corner of a bed, And in Damascus a couch.
