n el primo anno del suo regno, io, Daniele, compresi dai libri il numero degli anni in cui, secondo la parola dell'Eterno indirizzata al profeta Geremia, dovevano essere portate a compimento le desolazioni di Gerusalemme, è cioè settant'anni.

in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years whereof the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the accomplishing of the desolations of Jerusalem, even seventy years.
